Student Policies

Tuition and payment policies

Tuition & Fees: All fees and charges are subject to change without prior notice. The Arizona School of Real Estate & Business requires payment of all tuition, textbooks and fees in full at the time of registration. Payment can be made by cash, check or charge.

Returned Check Fee: All returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee. This fee is in addition to any fees charged by your bank or financial institution.

Shipping & Refunds: Shipping for books and materials is non-refundable if you choose to return your courses

Attendance and course completion policies

To ensure the best learning experience, students are encouraged to complete all courses as they are scheduled at the time of registration.

Scheduling Flexibility Policy: A student may take up to six (6) months from the date of purchase (hereinafter “date of enrollment”) to complete a course or “package” for which the student registered including any required school exams.

Rescheduling Policy: Students may reschedule as needed using their student account at www.asreb.com. Reschedule online at no cost anytime. Customer Care Associates are available to assist, and a rescheduling fee of $25 may apply. ASREB reserves the right to waive the fee on a case by case basis for extenuating circumstances. Students are encouraged to reschedule online for free.

Audit Policy: ASREB package students may audit any specific course or courses within their package one (1) time within a six (6) month period from the date of enrollment in the course/package, if space is available. (3 months for Mortgage Loan Originator). If a student wishes to retake a course(s) within their package after they have audited one time at no charge, the student is subject to pay full price for course(s). No certificates are given to audit students.

Extension Policy: A student who wishes to retake or continue any portion of the program more than six (6) months from their original date of enrollment, but less than 2 years, who paid the tuition in full, will be charged a non-refundable fee (either 3 or 6 months). Once the fee is paid the student has the extension period from that date to complete the course and test requirement successfully.  After two (2) years from date of enrollment, if the school exam has not been successfully passed, the student will be charged full tuition and must retake all of the classes of their program.

Testing No-Show Policy: Students who scheduled an exam and do not show up for their scheduled exam may be charged a $10 no-show fee.

Video & Photography

Electronic Devices: Electronic devices are to be turned off – no use of phones, tablets, video cameras, recording devices, or any other electronic device inside the classroom. Absolutely no recording of audio or video by any device is permitted without prior written consent and approval. All materials, both written and verbal, are proprietary to ASREB and cannot be used outside the purposes required for course completion.

ASREB regularly videotapes classrooms, and by your attendance, you hereby grant to ASREB and its affiliated companies and successors, the full right and unrestricted permission to use and reuse your “likeness, voice, name, spoken words and written statements” {my “PERSONA”}. My PERSONA may be used in any form or through any media now known or hereafter to be developed.

Unless I notify ASREB in writing that I do not agree to these terms, I hereby waive my right to approve materials and release, acquit, and forever discharge ASREB, its agents, officers, directors, employees, and affiliated companies from all claims or liabilities arising from any use of my PERSONA in any medium.

Refund policies

Refunds requested for classroom/livestream and online courses will be processed in the following ways:

Student registers, pays, and does not start class: Refunds must be requested in writing within thirty (30) days from the date of enrollment will and will be processed minus the $40 processing fee if the course has not been started. No refund will be issued after thirty (30) days from the date of enrollment, but students may complete the class for up to six (6) months from date of enrollment (3 months for Mortgage Loan Originator) if no refund has been issued. No prior credit (money) will be issued to the student if they re-register after 1 year from the date of enrollment.

Student registers, pays, and starts class: Refunds must be requested in writing within thirty (30) days from the date of enrollment and will be processed based on a pro-rated amount minus the $40 processing fee. No refund will be issued after thirty (30) days, but student may complete the class for up to six (6) months from the date of enrollment (3 months for Mortgage Loan Originator) if no refund has been issued.

CompuCram RE Salesperson – National + Arizona CompuCram Guarantee Refund Policy: If you pass our exams, we guarantee you’ll pass the state exam. If for some reason you don’t pass you state exam Just send us a copy of your state exam results within 14 days of the failed state exam attempt. After checking your progress to ensure that you were able to achieve over 80% at least three times in the Simulated Exams area within 7 days before your state exam attempt, and you are within 6 months of your initial purchase, we’ll return $100.00, and you will still have access to the product for the full 180 days from the date of purchase.

Refund Calculations

A student who starts class and officially requests a refund is subject to the following conditions:

A $40.00 non-refundable processing fee is included in the course tuition and will be charged upon registration. A $75.00 non-refundable textbook and materials fee. A $25.00 non-refundable fee for each session or portion thereof attended.

After school determines that a student has officially withdrawn, credit card refunds will be credited to the card used to make the purchase within five (5) business days; cash or check purchases within forty-five (45) business days. No prior credit (money or attendance) will be issued to the student if they receive a refund then re-enroll at a later date.

For Home Inspection refunds, please refer to the registration form. Our refund policy meets the Private Postsecondary education guidelines.

Online CE Tuition

Refunds requested for online continuing education courses that have not been completed: Students who purchase an online class may cancel within 30 calendar days after the date of enrollment.

Bookstore Refund Policy

Any unused item purchased in an ASREB Bookstore may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The item and all included materials must be returned in the original packaging, in original condition, and must be accompanied by an original receipt. Any credit card refunds will be credited to the card used to make the purchase within five (5) business days. Refunds for purchases originally paid for with cash or check will be issued by check from the ASREB corporate office within forty-five (45) business days.

**Any tuition paid with a credit card will have the refund processed within 5 business days.**
