January Instructor Highlight – Marlene Olsen

Actively licensed in real estate since 2002, Marlene owns a full service Real Estate Brokerage that serves residential buyers and sellers in Greater Phoenix. Certified by the Arizona Dept. of Real Estate as an instructor since 2005, she has developed real estate courses for ASREB. She is an active member of the Southeast Valley Regional Association of REALTORS®. She has such a passion and enthusiasm for the real estate profession, students have said, she’s

Having earned a B.A. in Germanic languages at Indiana University, Marlene’s 1st career was teaching at a large high school in Indiana. She earned a M.S. in secondary education from Purdue University within her first three years of teaching.

After earning a computer science degree from Purdue, Marlene abandoned the shoveling of lake-effect snow in Northwest Indiana for basking in the sunshine of greater Phoenix and a career in information technology in 1987.

In 2002 she became a Realtor® and in 2006, a real estate broker. She brings knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism to the classroom to
inspire her students.
